Swami Shivabrahmananda Saraswati chose a path of deep spiritual learning at the young age of 19, giving up material life to follow the way of truth and self-realization. His knowledge is rooted in the Bhagavad Gita, Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Samkhya, and Vedanta, which form the foundation of his teachings. He spent three years in ascetic practice on the banks of the holy River Narmada and later completed a three-year Vedanta course at Arsha Vidya Peetham in Rishikesh, part of Dayananda Ashram. Today, he teaches Yoga Philosophy with us at Rishikesh Yog Nirvana, guiding students to understand yoga beyond the physical postures. As a mentor, he inspires our students to live with awareness, discipline, and inner peace.
