About the 14-Day Yoga & Detox Retreat

This is more than a holiday. It is a structured detox and yoga immersion built for lasting change. Over 14 days at Rishikesh Yog Nirvana in Tapovan, you follow a daily rhythm of yoga, breathwork, Yoga Nidra, meditation and Ayurvedic detox. These work together on the root causes of modern physical and mental exhaustion. The programme is built for people who carry stress, poor digestion, low energy or low motivation. It also helps with the mental noise of overthinking.

The Tapovan ashram sits beside the sacred Ganges, ringed by the Himalayan foothills. This setting does much of the work. The air, the river, the silence and the lack of screens help you truly rest. Two weeks of rest at home simply cannot match it. Each morning begins with an Ayurvedic detox drink and yoga as the Himalayan sun rises over the river. Afternoons leave time for free exploring, sightseeing and Ayurvedic consultation. Evenings bring the group together for meditation, sound healing and the calming ritual of Ganga Aarti.

All levels welcome. Complete beginner or experienced yogi, our teachers adapt every class to your level. You need no prior yoga experience or flexibility. You only need to commit to two weeks of real self-care.

Benefits of the 14-Day Yoga Retreat

Two weeks of structured yoga, Ayurvedic detox and sattvic living bring measurable changes. You feel them in your body and in how your mind works. Here are the six main benefits guests report time and again.

Strong Immunity

Daily pranayama, Ayurvedic detox drinks and sattvic food work together. They strengthen the immune system and ease inflammation built up from modern habits.

Improved Energy Levels

Regular sleep, morning yoga and cutting out dietary toxins restore your natural energy rhythms. Most guests report feeling more energised by day four than they have in months.

Enhanced Mental Health

Yoga Nidra, meditation and sound healing activate the parasympathetic nervous system. This lowers cortisol and anxiety. Two weeks of daily practice builds a real base for mental calm.

Weight Loss Support

Dynamic Ashtanga Vinyasa, a calorie-balanced sattvic diet, daily morning detox drinks and better digestion all help. Together they support healthy weight loss in a natural way, without strict diets.

Toxin Removal

Ayurvedic detox drinks, pranayama breathing and cutting out processed foods flush out built-up physical and mental toxins. This improves digestion, skin clarity and your overall sense of lightness.

Stress Relief & Better Lifestyle

Two weeks of structured rest, time in nature and yogic discipline build new habits of mind and body. Guests carry them home: better sleep, calmer reactions and a more mindful daily routine.

★★★★★

"Good yoga school, dedicated teachers, delicious food, clean and safe environment. It is a small yoga school where they limit group sizes, which in my opinion is very important. This way you get more personal attention. The whole experience felt deeply authentic."

★★★★★

"Teachers are very helpful and passionate. I have learnt a lot here, not only asana but the whole yogi lifestyle and philosophy. Recommend this school to all people who want to experience real yoga in Rishikesh."
