Teacher Training Rishikesh

yoga training students

Yoga has gained popularity recently, and its significance in modern society cannot be stressed enough. It works well to encourage social connection, self-awareness, and both physical and mental wellness. Its significance in the present world resides in its capacity to support people in coping more easily and resiliently with the stress and difficulties of daily life. It can assist in lowering blood pressure, reducing chronic pain, and enhancing cardiovascular health. The benefits of regular yoga practice for general mental health and well-being have been scientifically demonstrated. Also, it can help foster feelings of inner peace and contentment.

A 100 hour yoga teacher training program is a short-term course that provides foundational knowledge and skills required to become a yoga instructor. It is designed for individuals who wish to deepen their understanding of yoga and gain the skills needed to lead a yoga class. At Rishikesh Yog Nirvana, our 100 hours course covers topics such as yoga philosophy, anatomy, alignment, teaching methodology, and practical teaching experience. Participants learn various yoga asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), and meditation practices.

The course has been developed for yoga students who lack the perseverance and endurance required for the 200-hour programme. The best part of the Yoga TTC in Rishikesh is that it provides you with the option to come back whenever it’s convenient for you for an additional 100 Hours of yoga instruction, enabling you to finish the 200-hour TTC programme we offer. The course begins on the first of every month and lasts for 12 days.

Living a yogic life requires choosing the right foods to eat. Many people believe that practising yoga is sufficient and that changing their food habits is unnecessary. At Rishikesh Yog Nirvana, we think that yoga is a way of life, more than just a form of physical and mental exercise. Yoga can help you gain more benefits when you improve your eating habits. We serve vegetarian “Sattvic” meals at our yoga school in accordance with the ancient science of “Ayurveda.” Being simple to digest, sattvic food helps to relax the mind and promote inner peace. Such meals help bring out kindness and compassion in people along with making them spiritually stronger.

We provide students with a very practical 100 hour short yoga teacher training programme. The students will have the option to return for an additional 100 hours of yoga instruction whenever it is convenient for them, allowing them to finish the entire 200-hour TTC programme we provide.

No prior education is necessary for our course. It is the basic course and will start from scratch by teaching the most crucial ideas and abilities. All you need is a sincere desire to practice yoga. Although we advise at least a year of consistent practice, total beginners can also use it.

The asana (posture) practice seeks to improve your strength, willpower, flexibility, and theoretical knowledge of yoga postures. You will discover the Sanskrit names, advantages, and alignment of every asana during this yoga teacher training at the Yoga India Foundation. The programme contains Hatha Yoga/Vinyasa Flow (warm-up postures, Sun Salutations, Standing postures, Balancing postures etc.) as well as Ashtanga Yoga Postures (Sun Salutations A and B, standing and sitting sequence, and the entire Ashtanga Primary Series).

It's essential that you remain strongly motivated on your own throughout the course. Commitment, devotion, and discipline are necessary for both practising and teaching yoga. To avoid any misunderstandings or the possibility of being expelled, students must abide by all of the school's established rules.

For 100 hours of TTC, no certificate will be given to you. Our 100 hour yoga teacher training programme is intended to assist students who lack the perseverance and endurance required for the 200-hour programme. You will have the option to return whenever it is convenient for you for an additional 100 hours of yoga training, enabling you to finish our 200-hour TTC programme. When you finish, you will receive the certificate.

Our lodging is equipped with all contemporary conveniences, including wifi, a library, and 24-hour security monitoring. Throughout the course, housing is provided on a private accommodation basis. We have taken care to offer you simple but comfortable lodgings.

All your meals and accommodation fees are included in the student fees that you pay. You will not be required to pay any extra charges.

Our courses are designed to accommodate 15-20 students at a time. We do this to provide them with proper and systematic teachings of yoga and to ensure that each student gets individual attention and help from the teachers.

All of the instructors at our yoga school in Rishikesh are very skilled, competent, and experienced, however, they all have different teaching philosophies. You will learn something new and gain a distinct perspective on yoga from each of them.

We want to make the premises as comfortable as possible to encourage the ideal setting for the study of yoga. Our facilities include 24/7 security surveillance, Wi-Fi, Library, a fully automatic washing machine, yoga mat & props and a cleaning service.

If you have already paid the advance course costs and you are unable to attend on the scheduled date, you need not worry. Kindly let us know and we will suggest a subsequent date for you to take the course. The fees will not be reimbursed under any circumstance.

Only in an emergency will students be allowed to join us on different schedules; all advance payment of course fees will not be refunded. We accept cancellations from students who have already enrolled in a course, but there will be no refund of course fees. Course cancellations are free of charge.

Yoga demands a lot of stretching and mobility, so it's best to dress comfortably so that your range of motion isn't restricted. In the yogic culture, it is natural to dress in loose, comfortable garments that are relaxing to the body and mind. However, students can also dress in athletic attire if that is what they are comfortable with.

The school provides only "Sattvic" and vegetarian food. Your health will be greatly impacted by the thoughtfully prepared meals during the duration of the programme. You can maintain a healthy lifestyle by adhering to a yogic diet, which consists of fruits, vegetables, greens, and herbs. In addition, we can also meet requests for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, organic, and other diets.

You will be provided with yoga mats and other props, but if you don’t feel comfortable with what we offer, you are free to bring your own. All of your requirements are met at the school, but some items may be useful for you to bring along such as a water bottle, a pair of shoes, comfortable clothes for yoga and basic medications that you might need.
