Rishikesh Yog Nirvana is located on Balaknath Road, Upper Tapovan, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand 249192 — a peaceful area in the Himalayan foothills, close to the banks of the Ganga and just a short walk from the famous Laxman Jhula bridge.

Rishikesh is well connected by air, rail, and road. Once you arrive, our team is available to guide you with local directions and arrival support.

By Air

The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport (DED), Dehradun — approximately 35 km from our ashram in Tapovan, about 45 minutes by taxi. If flying into Delhi (DEL), Rishikesh is a 5–6 hour drive or an overnight bus via Haridwar. We arrange complimentary airport pickup from Dehradun on batch start day when booked in advance.

By Train

Haridwar Junction (HW) is the nearest major railway station — about 25 km south of Tapovan, well connected to Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata. You can also arrive at Rishikesh Railway Station, which is closer but has fewer direct trains. Taxis and shared autos to our ashram in Upper Tapovan are easily available from both stations.

By Road

Rishikesh is approximately 240 km from Delhi (5–6 hours) and 45 km from Dehradun (1–1.5 hours) via NH-7. Regular buses run from Delhi ISBT Kashmere Gate to Rishikesh. The drive follows the Ganges valley through the Himalayan foothills — one of the most scenic approaches to any yoga destination in India.
