Which most of us are not able to have and feel. After reading this I am sure most of you will consider yoga to feel more stable, clear, whole and heart-centered.
Answer to this subject is something which is very close to my heart and explains why I chose yoga teacher training to overcome the unwanted emotions I was facing and which were controlling my life, happiness, surrounding below you will know how it changed me from a person who was low in life had no dream, to a person who has a meaning in life and has an aim to achieve.

Rishikesh which is the capital of yoga and Nirvana which describes that this is the place to experience happiness, peace and where you forget all the suffering, pain, and desires. This place brings one close to nature make one realize there is a life that has a true meaning to it, one need not someone else to feel love or some non-living thing to feel loved self-love experience.
I was very excited as I landed at this place and never knew that this place will change my life completely. Rishikesh Yog Nirvana had sent airport pickup as its a part of 200-hour yoga teacher training, so I don’t face any difficulty to reach yoga school as being non-resident and new to the place they made sure that I feel safe and as the drive was for 45 minutes from Dehradun to Rishikesh I had amazing ride where I got to see man things which one needs to experience by themselves. As I reached to the school can’t forget the day, how they welcome one stranger student which you actually don’t get to feel because welcome was warm, invitational, traditional and with Indian culture could feel the environment where people are kind to each other, love, connection and happiness. My first brain break and that too a place I never thought I would be and which will make me choose yoga as my career. So glad I chose this place to get my yoga certification which is approved from yoga alliance USA.
Let me give you all the details on how my day used to start. The First day, which was the ceremony day where entire school faculty, students and staff get together for an opening ceremony called “Havan”. An Indian ritual where offerings are made into the fire with chanting mantras and prayers for the purity which opens chakra and one feels spiritual mentally and physically.
Daily morning routine where we would start our day at 05:30 AM with herbal tea and feel the nature around us followed by eye cleansing and Nose cleansing called Jal Neti. Pranayama was the first-class check “Rishikeshyognirvana” Instagram page to see some major and amazing benefits of Pranayama where it proved one can feel ELEVATION through the continuous and long practice. After pranayama we had vinyasa flow sequence class which was one of my favorite class of the RYT 200, this morning flow sweat class made each one of us ready for the day, as it started with sun salutation warm-up which is the enrage emotion of ankle, wrist, spine and much deeper into it. Followed by delicious Indian vegetarian breakfast. An hour of break after breakfast and we had Anatomy class with very experienced yoga teacher, I am a very big advocate of not fear-mongering, not making people afraid to move or afraid to be in their bodies, a freedom to move, to breathe and try things without fear and this class will encourage one to do that.
Philosophy class an hour of this class every day which taught me so much about yoga and its theory, that unheard knowledge which we all learned in our 200-hour Ashtanga vinyasa yoga teacher training. We covered some major topics and their depth like Ashtanga yoga who was the father of it and who was the first yogi. Yama, Niyama, Nadis, Chakras, Mudras, Pancha Prana, Upa Pancha prana, Shat Kriya, Dauti.
We all know how important alignment is for a body to perform asanas and I was shocked to see my own body alignment which was not perfect nor normal as we do small daily mistakes while sitting standing and we get into the habit of it and don’t realize that particular mistake becomes our normal seated or standing posture. With correct alignment we feel strong, connected, balanced, tall and that’s what I learned in this class “Alignment class” where you get to know there so many different ways you can progress and regress a pose, making movement easy by using lever length in which bending elbow or knees because when we are moving against gravity, we are only moving half of our leg and half of our arm and it’s all on movement we are doing and orientation. One of the best class where you understand body adjustments for all the postures which are a significant part of being a yoga instructor.
Followed the day with Meditation class which was another one of my favorite class of yoga course in Rishikesh where I experienced different types of Meditation as I am a person coming from a place which is hectic stressful fast no time for our self, this class taught me how to make mind constant and how to turn mind inward which habitually turn outwards while “Dhyana”. Meditation class at Rishikesh Yog Nirvana taught me the gate to bliss, reach the goal, how to control the mind, how to let go, how to forgive, how to be patient, be in tranquility, its power, how to be detached. People say Meditation is therapy but there is so much deep to it….
Ending the day with Ashtanga class which was for 90 minutes every day along with its opening and closing prayer. Amazing class practicing Primary series of Ashtanga vinyasa series, it was fun I felt stronger each day, I started feeling confident, positive, lively and felt what I was missing in my life. Ashtanga yoga teacher in Rishikesh Yog Nirvana was very helpful and supportive during and after the class.
During this 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training In Rishikesh on weekends like Sunday, we had so much fun like Stone painting, Henna art, dancing, short excursions to temples, beach yoga by the Gange river, Sound healing class, cave meditation, going on the top of mountains view of the city.
Finally, the last day we had the closing ceremony happy and sad at the same time. Saying goodbye is not easy but we were done with our ceremony. I miss each and everything about Rishikesh and about yoga training, so much I learned in one month of my course and it was the best decision I took to travel to Rishikesh and do yoga certification from Rishikesh Yog Nirvana in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
